Practice Group Podcasts       A panel of free speech and national security experts discusses what, if anything, can be done about the Wikileaks matter. Who, if anyone, can or should be prosecuted, and for what? How strong is a potential free speech defense? What is the potential liability of re-publishers? As technology continues to develop, who qualifies as a "journalist" and "press?" These and other questions will be addressed by our experts. [Listen now!]

Global Governance Watch       Human Rights Watch officials are being criticized for their statements on the Bin Laden killing, in which they argue that he was denied due process by the U.S. One HRW official said "On the face of it, it was a fire-first situation. People are saying that justice has been done, but justice has not been done. Justice is when you arrest someone and put them on trial." To read more, click here

SCOTUSCast       On 04/04/11, the Supreme Court Held that that 1) under federal habeas corpus law, "review is limited to the record that was before the state court that adjudicated the claim on the merits" & 2) the California State Supreme Court did not unreasonably apply clearly established federal law. To discuss the case we have Ronald Eisenberg, who is the Deputy District Attorney for the Law Division of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. [Listen now!]
